Hello everyone and once again you made it to Friday!  Congratulations!

This week on Face It Friday, we are talking about the magical avocado!  Here you will find 3 easy to do face masks using our wonderful friend the avocado and other items most likely in your kitchen as we speak!

Since the avocado is full of vitamin E and C which is a great antioxidant AND as oleic acid which reduces inflammation, these face masks will help even the fussiest of skin.

The first face mask is for dry skin and has only TWO ingredients!

Ingredients:
1/2 an avocado
1 Tbsp honey

That's it!  Just mix the two together and apply to a clean, dry face.  Let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes, rinse with cool water, and pat dry!

The next mask is for oily skin.

Ingredients:
1/2 an avocado
1 tsp of plain yogurt

Mix together and apply to a clean, dry face for about 10 to 15 minutes.  The lactic acid in the yogurt helps to kill bacteria that causes acne, leaving you feeling fresh.  Rinse with cool water and pat dry.

The third mask is for completely dehydrated skin.  Think in the middle of a harsh midwestern winter skin!

Ingredients:
1/2 an avocado
2 Tbsp of cream or milk

Whip together and apply to your face and let sit for 15-20 minutes.  This mask is also GREAT for dry or frizzy hair.  You can also add a little cornstarch if you want to thicken it up for a paste.

And there you have it!  Three easy face masks using the superfood, avocado with options for all skin types.

Thank you so much for stopping by and we hope you have a fabulous weekend!  Make sure to let us know what you would like to see on Face It Friday!
